Let It Go!

Do you have something in your life that exhausts you rather than energizes you?

Maybe it is time to...Let It Go!

A friend and I were having a conversation the other day about things that charge us up, and things that bring us down.

"Some things just aren't worth our energy," she said.

I couldn't agree with her more!

Sometimes life can be overwhelming, and it can be difficult to put things into perspective! Getting things out from your head and onto paper can really help clear the clutter and let you see in front of you what is really important.

Make two lists; one of things that energize you, and the second, of things that drain you. The things that energize you, keep doing them! As far as the things that drain you? Take a look and see if there is anything you can do to make them ore enjoyable; for example, I love to cook, but it drains me to think about what I am going to have for dinner every night; it wasn't the actual cooking, but the lack of planning that was stressing me out; so I decided to take some time at the beginning of the week to prep and meal plan! This has been a real game changer for me; less stress and more enjoyment for something that I love!

If you can't come up with any way to turn around the things that drain you...it's time to LET IT GO!

I encourage you to do this exercise at least two times a year and see what unfolds for you!
