Write A LoveLetter To Yourself

Have you ever written a love letter to yourself? It’s a really fun way for you to acknowledge all the really good things and accomplishments you experienced over the course of the previous year;  and what you write down doesn’t have to be major milestones, just feel good stuff.

I cannot tell you how Empowering it is to go over your year and write about it I remember specifically when I did this in the past;  opening that letter and reading the year’s highlights brought me right back to those moments in my life that I probably would have forgotten had I not written them down!

Plus it works really well when you are having a crappy day; it's a gentle way to remind yourself how awesome you really are!

Here’s how you do it Grab your journal, tablet, or a piece of paper and pen, and your beverage of choice (not necessary, just enhances the experience)

Make a list of all the cool stuff that YOU did in 2019.  What you did,,,not your kids, not your family,  friends, or coworkers, just YOU. (remember this is all about you; if you feel called to do one for your family by all means do it, but this one is just for your eyes only) Maybe you tried something new in the kitchen, became more organized,  set boundaries, formed closer relationships,

Now get really specific Write how proud you are that you have accomplished those things, and how your life looks like now because of it; remember no matter how small the accomplishment; document it.

Put this letter in a safe place where you have access to it; look at it whenever you need a pick me up, or want to put a smile on your face!

A love letter is a really fun way for you to acknowledge all the really good things and accomplishments you experienced over the course of the previous year; give it a try and let me know how it goes by emailing me at cindy@cindyholtsmith.com
